You’re up north in tropical country now, Tully is actually one of the wettest places in Australia. Banana Picking is where you will most likely get a job but there’s also work to be found sugar cane picking.

Tully is 200km north of Townsville and 142km south of Cairns, accessible via the Bruce Highway. Buses and Trains will also get you to Tully.
The Banana barracks hostel has a good relationship with growers and they are a great source for find work in the region. Obviously there are hotels, motels and caravan parks as well. Cairns and Townsville airports are your best bets if flying direct to North East Queensland.
