Queenslanders best mate the Bruce Highway will get you there! Innisfail is 260km north of Townsville ( 3hrs drive) and 90km south Cairns.
Accommodation
There’s a backpackers hostel in town otherwise caravan park, camping and hotels are an alternative option. Obviously farm stay could work if you get accommodation on site. The nearest major airports are in Cairns and Townsville.

Tropical weather up north in Innisfail so depending on the season, there’s always a chance of rain. Mountain Biking, Kayaking, Golf, Fishing, Canoeing, Camping are population activities.
