Darwin is a 4 hour drive north and alice springs is a 14 hour drive south. Daily bus services operate to Katherine, ( from north and south) along with flights from most major cities.
Accommodation
There’s a backpackers hostel in town along with cabin and caravan park options. Obtaining a bed to sleep in at the orchard can be a great alternative.
