Getting There
Located 40km from Mildura, Nangiloc is 6 hours drive from Melbourne and 5 hours from Adelaide. Daily bus services operate daily from Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney as well as regular flight services.
Accommodation
Some farms will provide dorm style bedding or will accommodate pickers with camper vans or camping equipment. In town there is a caravan park but apart from that there are limited options.
Extending Your Australian Working Holiday Visa
Many harvest jobs will meet the Second Australian Working Holiday Visa eligibility and count towards the 88 days of specified work. Some regional locations and jobs are ineligible which could lead to the Department of Immigration rejecting your application. So remember to confirm whether or not your fruit picking or harvest job will count towards the Second Australian WHV.
