You can drive to Cunnamulla or get a bus from Brisbane that runs 2-3 times a week. Greyhound Buses will go via Toowoomba, overall journey duration is 12.5 hours.

Farm stays are common ( may need own camping gear) as well as caravan parks. As per usual their is the motel and hotel option.
