Albany is a 5 hours drive south east from Perth along the Albany Highway. Daily buses and flights also service the area from Perth if you’re without a car.
You’ll find all sorts of accommodation in Albany including backpackers hostels, caravan parks, guesthouses and the other usual suspects. Orchards and farms may even provide accommodation to employees.

- Admire the beautiful coastline and scenery
- Tour the old whaling station
- Check out Torndirrup National Park
- Do some whale watching ( take some wine and make a picnic out of it)
Many harvest jobs will meet the Second Australian Working Holiday Visa eligibility and count towards the 88 days of specified work. Some regional locations and jobs are ineligible which could lead to the Department of Immigration rejecting your application.
