If you’re into action, you can do everything from here. Surf perfect waves, wake board, skydive or kite surf. If action is not for you, Australia Zoo and Underwater World are easily accessible and there are shops and cafes within a short walk. There are also harvest work opportunities in the area, so if you have a car the Cottontree Backpackers is a great place to stay.
