   my name is kim, i had stayed this hostel 3years ago, but i still remember
   the owner, how horrible people they are(member of family), what he did to me, he kicked me out of hostel unfalrly and set me up but i couldn’t defend on myself because i couldn’t speak english well at the time, most of people do in that hostel, when i stayed there most of them were asian people, they couldn’t speak up and claim in unfair situaion, so owner get advantage of that, first thing you should know is this is not a normal hostel, this is work place, hostel owner arrange job between farm and guest as a contractor, which mean sure owner get commercial from a farm, so thousand of backpackers would go there to earn money but place is terrible you can’t ever imagine all furniture are broken of old or made of rag, smell and fly every where,no heater no alr conditioner, but this scam owner knows exactly what guest want JOB ,so he use that advantage even raise room price constantly and treat guest like shit, even they kick out guest like unfairly with no deposit back like me, this is what happen to me one early morning i was busy to prepare going work, i ran out of front door, my feet traped by a plastic bag which i droped accidently show i just kiked it off rather then pick it up, the owner he caught me up, it was second time he eye on me since i washed my car at parking lot he told me ‘this is my parking lot my water!don’t use!’ which is ironic i’m a guest i’m right to be use all of that but since the place is not a normal,,
   anyway back to story he caught me up, order me to pick it up, but it was fly by wind long way, he still insisted me i was patient i tryed but it was already a mile away, when i came back he still insisted me to, i knew it was not about stupid thing it was about his ego, a guy king of hostel , drive porsche, i’m sure anybody notice he’s a dochebag, he was a kind of guy you can read guy from first look he’s phoney all over his face, i got enough i told him i wasn’t gonna and i don’t give a shit anymore whether u kick me out or not, after he came to me told me ‘i give u chance’ that he told me to don’t use his parking lot, (chance my ass! who do u think u are!) but you know i wasn’t able to say at the time, it was bullshit! workers were already arranged that morning, if i didn’t go he’s gonna get trouble, i told him i go, not because of your bullshit chace, because of my own responsibility thing, i went, middle of day on a job, farm owner receive phone call, guess who? i couldn’t understand exactly conversation but farm owner said on the phone ‘no i don’t give a shit about him’ something like that. after received phone farmer accuse me with the stupid bag thing again, he was asshole as much as owner was, of course i got fired when i came back to hostel, hostel a staff gave me 30min to pack my stuff to leave, apparently he received order from the owner, he didn’t even have gut to tell me in my face. i was dirty on all of my body from work but i didn’t have time to wash up, he got what he intended to.
   after 3years he still remind me as a biggest dochebag i ever met in my entire whole life. in my memory during 2years of staying 90% of austrailan are nice people. i’m telling him right now whoever your name is i told my story so may you get who i am, it’s shame asshole like you live in that beautiful country.

     Hi Kim, and thanks for sharing your story.

     We are well aware of the problems with some working hostels and farmers treating there employees unfairly. It is good that you let other people know the situation at this working hostel. 3 years has gone by and maybe things have changed by now – Is there anyone else out there that got a more recent story on how the stay was at this hostel?
