Rombola Family Farms encompasses over 4,000 hectares of intensive irrigated horticultural production at Griffith (NSW), Bundaberg (QLD) and Mataranka (NT). Agricultural enterprises include Seedless Watermelon, Rockmelons, Broccoli, Pumpkin, Almonds and Winegrapes. Operations include primary production, processing, value adding and marketing.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team during the harvest period at our farm in Nericon (Close to Griffith) NSW.

The ideal candidate will be motivated, hands on and have a can-do attitude while working with a diverse workforce. At Rombola Family Farms we aim to have a work environment where everyone feels included and everyone can realise their full potential.

• Secure a position now to commence work in December.
• Join our team with a variety of positions available.
• Harvest period is from the middle of December 2023 to the middle of May 2024.

During the harvest period of December 2023 to May 2024 we will employ several seasonal positions. These workers will help us in various production activities for fresh produce. We produce seedless watermelon, rockmelon, honeydew, and pumpkin.

Roles Available: 

• Forklift Operators
• Production Workers: Packers, QA, Ticketing, and more  
• Harvest Workers  

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

• Be available to commence work with us for the entire harvest period from December through to May. Be available for day or night shifts up to 12 hours, up to 7 days a week including Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays on a roster.
• Be capable and willing to work in a busy environment. Due to the high physical demands of these positions and regular periods of hot weather, workers will need to be physically fit and self-motivated.
• Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, New Zealand citizen or hold a valid work visa and be able to provide evidence of your right to work.
• If you are applying for the forklift role you must have a license, we will accept applicants with experience who are willing to obtain one before commencement of employment.
• For some of the positions you require to lift up to 16 kl.

Successful applicants will be required to organise their own transport and accommodation.

Rombola Family Farms is a large scale, progressive, privately owned horticultural business based 20kms North of Griffith, NSW.  The company operates counter-seasonal operations in Mataranka (Northern Territory), and in Bundaberg (Queensland), allowing us to supply our melons and pumpkins to our customers year-round.
