Gapsted Estate are currently seeking Cellar Hands to join our vintage V24 team. The successful applicants will be required to work closely with the Winemaking team to achieve the timely completion of all related tasks within the winery. This vintage Cellar Hand position reports to our Winery Supervisors.  You will require to be a team player who can demonstrate the ability to think quick on their feet, show initiative, be reliable and use their time effectively.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in the daily winemaking processes of juice and wine production, including daily cellar tidy up.
• Read, understand and follow all Gapsted Estate standard operating procedures.
• Ensure that all work is completed accurately and within allocated times.
• Show a willingness to adopt flexible working hours including normal vintage hours.
• Comply with all facets of our systems and equipment in the winery.
• Renumeration is per the Wine Industry Award.

Skills & Experience

• Forklift License is desired.
• Experience working in a winery environment is desired.
• Fit and energetic, manual handling is involved.
• Must be a good communicator and team player.
• Able to take direction from other people.
• Attention to detail with the ability to work in out doors environment
• Must be reliable with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
